Rear Panel
The rear panel is a metal plate installed on the back of the printer to act as a seal.
When to Use This Guide
The rear panel is significantly deformed due to transportation or maintenance, affecting its functionality or installation.
Required Tools and Materials
- New rear panel
- H2.0 Allen key
- Screws involved in the disassembly and assembly process (it is recommended to properly store the removed screws to avoid loss)
Yellow marked screw: BT3-6
Red marked screw: ST3-4.5
Green marked screw: M3-4.5

Safety Warning
IMPORTANT!
Always power off and disconnect power on the printer before performing maintenance work. Not doing so means there is a risk of electric shock, short circuit, and damage to the printer or surrounding area.
When a maintenance task necessitates the printer being powered on, use insulated gloves for safety and pay special care not to pinch, damage, or put pressure on any exposed wires, connectors, or circuit boards. Additionally, the nozzle can be extremely hot so never touch it with exposed skin.

Removing the Rear Panel
Step 1: Remove the PTFE Tube Bracket
Refer to the instructions for Replacing the PTFE Tube Bracket to remove the PTFE tube bracket.
Step 2: Remove the Filament Buffer
Refer to the instructions for Replacing the Filament Buffer to remove it.
Step 3: Remove the Rear Panel
Remove the four screws shown below.
As shown in the image below, remove the green screw, followed by the nine red screws.
Avoid the PTFE tube and remove the rear panel.
Installing the Rear Panel
Step 1: Reinstall the Rear Panel
Pass the PTFE tube through the bracket slot, align the rear panel with the edges and screw holes, and install it on the back of the printer.
Identify the screw at position 1, marked in green, and tighten it. Then tighten the remaining nine screws.
In the 4 positions marked with orange, tighten the 4 screws in sequence.
Step 2: Install the Filament Buffer
Refer to the instructions for Replacing the Filament Buffer and install the filament buffer.
Step 3: Install the PTFE Tube Bracket
Refer to the instructions for Replacing the PTFE Tube Bracket to install the barrel bracket.
Verifying Functionality
- Check that no screws are missing or loose.
- Ensure there is no obvious deformation of the rear panel.
